Running my own company commenced out of sheer necessity. I was a struggling student
(both financially and academically) and to make ends meet I decided to clean
homes.
I’ve always lived by the philosophy that "You come into this world with
nothing and leave with nothing." So with this in mind I ventured into
my own business. My mum always said I was destined to run my own business
from age 7 when I made all the children in our street pay to play with our
pet lamb. |
Arctic Cleaning holdings (ACH) is split into 2 divisions:
- Event Cleaning - trade shows, concerts, corporate functions,
entertainment ventures.
- Industrial & Commercial cleaning.
The company is very important to me because it's something
that was created from a simple idea and has evolved into a success without
any start up capital. In terms of the friendships I’ve developed and
experiences I have had Arctic has brought me a lot of happiness. This
is not to say that there haven't been plenty of low times as well. And
it’s amazing what you can achieve in the face of adversity. I really
believe failure is a good thing. It allows you to learn and move on.
We offer work programs to underprivileged and homeless people. Through
doing this we are allowing people an opportunity to gain experience,
but more importantly to develop feelings of hope and happiness. In time
what I have found is that their self-worth increases and they are interested
in seeking employment on a permanent basis.
In terms of what the business offers to clients, I feel very passionate
about our drive for total customer satisfaction. The attitude within
the company is a very positive one and we have a saying "never say
never."
We try to make clients feel special whilst at the same time provide
an excellent service. We’ve made mistakes, plenty of them but we always
try to make things right again. We are always honest and sincere in
our dealings.
Thank you for visiting our web site today and I wish you all the luck
in the future.
Kindest and best regards,
NICKIE HAYLEN
