Arctic's Foundation

The Arctic Foundation is a project working towards being launched by the end of this year. Essentially it is a youth development program providing guidance and support for boys from Year 6 through to Year 12 of High School.

The aim of the program will be to focus on providing a forum for which boys will be able to actively participate in the following work shops - nutrition, health and fitness, sex, drugs and alcohol awareness, goal setting and mentoring, community services, communication, investment, money management and the role of women in society.

The project will be funded by Arctic Cleaning Holdings, however involvement of key personnel from various corporations will be a key factor in ensuring the ongoing success of the project.

Initially, it is hoped that six schools will participate increasing to twelve within two years.

It is hoped that these sessions will provide boys with the confidence and necessary skills to educate them and their peers in issues that surround them all.
